After joining as a Trustee of the P3 Group in December 2014, Adam was elected Chair in October 2017.
Adam is a passionate supporter of young people and started his journey with P3 as Chairman of the Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT), where he oversaw the 2009 merger between RPT and P3. Adam remains a Trustee of the Rugby Portobello Foundation.
Adam founded three successful sales and service businesses and has 50 years of experience managing capable and creative people, with a record of driving outstanding results. He has held board responsibilities in large businesses. Adam is a mentor to charity CEOs and to businesses, advises a London museum and serves as a churchwarden, as well as a non-exec with Schoolsworks Academy Trust, West Sussex.
Carol joined the P3 Board in 2017, bringing with her considerable experience of the social housing sector. Having spent most of her life in the sector, she is now CEO of a major London-based housing association, a Board member of Placeshapers (a national network of over 100 HAs) and a member of the Euston Town Business Improvement District Board.
Carol is motivated by the challenges of delivering on her organisation’s core social purpose in the context of market pressures, a regulated industry and a wide range of stakeholders. She aims to bring drive, energy, commitment and focus to the goals of providing decent affordable homes, professional landlord services, support for vulnerable people and working in partnership to create great places to live. She looks beyond her organisation and engages actively in shaping the policy environment to help create the conditions for providers to do more.
As a Trustee of P3 she is grateful to be able to bring her experience and commitment to supporting P3’s goals to improve people’s lives and is immensely proud of what P3 does every day.
Sarah is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience across various sectors, including private equity-backed SMEs, banking, public sector and not-for-profits. Specialising in working with rapid-growth organisations, systems implementation and change management to deliver robust and scalable processes, she is a both a confident leader and a strong team player.
Sarah approaches finance with energy and enthusiasm. She is an experienced Board member who holds several voluntary Board positions, and she currently works in a charity providing day care services to autistic adults.
In addition to her commercial and financial background, Sarah has overseen HR, operational and legal matters. Sarah enjoys voluntary work and has been involved with organisations such as Gingerbread, the Scout Movement and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. She believes that there is enormous value in helping others when we can and in encouraging a strong sense of community where we all help and support each other. Her values include fairness, integrity and respect. She believes that, as a society, we face many challenges and so the more we work together, the better off we all are.
Richard joined the P3 Board in November 2021. He brings significant commercial and leadership experience to his role as Chair of P3’s Finance and General Purposes Committee, specialising in strategic planning and change management and having negotiated complex contracts with both the government and the private sector and led both front line and back-office functions.
Richard is a recently retired Chartered Accountant who qualified with Ernst & Young in London and worked in the audit, litigation and training departments before moving into industry. He held senior finance and operational roles in the food and dairy sectors in the UK and the Netherlands. For the last 15 years of his working career, he was the Finance Director for the rail operations of National Express in the UK and Germany, and then for the UK train operations of Trenitalia, the Italian state railway.
Richard has a particular interest in helping young people and vulnerable people. He is a tutor and mentor for The Access Project, providing educational and development support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and is a Trustee for a legal aid firm. He also continues to play and coach football and cricket, as well as being Chair of the local cricket club.
William has joined the P3 Board in 2021. He qualified as a lawyer with Richards Butler (now Reed Smith) in London in 1992, before embarking on a career in legal recruitment. This has seen him running teams and setting up and managing recruitment businesses in Birmingham and London and he currently runs his own business as a Legal Headhunter.
William has been a Freeman of the City of London and a member of The Leathersellers’ Company since 1988. He has for many years been involved in the company’s considerable philanthropic and charitable activities and works as a liaison between the company and the charities it supports. He has a particular interest in working with charities that improve the lives and prospects of young people. He also takes an active role in the Leathersellers’ Student Grants Scheme which aims to support students from across the UK who are in financial need and whose circumstances may be preventing their excellence from shining through.
William is particularly motivated by helping people to achieve their full potential and lead more fulfilling lives.
David joined the P3 Board in November 2023, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience advising stakeholders through complex financial restructurings and turnarounds, in which the preservation and maximisation of value is paramount. David has advised governments, central banks and regulators and has experiencing spanning global complex matters with debt facilities of up to £10 billion to mid-market private companies.
David started his career at Arthur Andersen where he trained as a Chartered Accountant, then went on to become a Partner at Ernst & Young. In 2007, he joined FTI Consulting Inc as part of its initial launch and build out of an EMEA business. David is Leader of FTI Consulting’s UK practice with over 1,000 professionals. David holds an MBA with a specialism in Strategic Leadership from Warwick Business School and is a member of the Institute for Turnaround.
David is passionate about development and growth of people-centric businesses and the role of corporates in creating social capital through corporate social responsibility (CSR) and socioeconomic diversity. David values empathy, transparency and pragmatism when faced with working through the opportunities or challenges to deliver the optimal outcome for each party.
Nancy started her working life in the not-for-profit sector on issues related to young people, social exclusion and economic regeneration, then went on to pursue a career in HR and market growth advisory work at international consultancies, starting at PWC. Her expertise lies in business transformation and international corporate expansion.
Nancy has a strong interest in widening participation and social mobility, working particularly with young people, and this is reflected in her voluntary work where she has worked with organisations providing mentoring support. Nancy is currently part of the management team at Hoptroff, working in resilient timing technology across different sectors.
Omid is a portfolio Chief Information Officer (CIO) and has extensive executive technology and digital leadership experience across the private, public and third sectors. Omid is honoured to hold a regional role as a member of the Mayor of London’s Data for London Board and had the privilege of setting up the London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI). His current portfolio includes non-executive director roles with the East of England Ambulance Trust and Transport for London, alongside consulting engagements with LOTI, Croydon, Camden and Newham, where he also acts as Strategic Advisor to the Mayor.
Throughout his career, Omid has tried to do his part in fostering an environment to improve the inclusivity of organisations he has worked with. He has had opportunities to progress his career in the tech/digital and data sectors remains committed to doing what he can to address the diversity imbalance in these sectors.
A member of both our Charity Board and Housing Board, Yvonne recently retired as the CEO of The Clink Charity and has spent her career in a variety of board-level positions in both FTSE companies and HM Government, including BT Plc, the Ministry of Justice and Interserve Plc. She is the co-founder and director of Aran Advisors Ltd, which helps organisations that supply to the government to review their growth strategies and to design compelling solutions. She also advises government bodies, companies and charities on public sector procurements. Yvonne is a also a Trustee of The Spencer Club, a community sports charity in London, and undertakes board advisory work.

Before retiring in 2019, Gill worked for over 35 years in Social Housing more lately as Director of Housing and Customer Services at Nottingham City Homes.
Gill is also a Non Executive Director of Karbon Homes and has recently joined the Board of 54North Homes.
Gill is passionate about social housing and the wider role it plays in building strong and sustainable communities. She is fully committed to ensuring customers have a voice in shaping the services that are delivered to them and is proud to Chair the Board of P3 Housing.
Robin has a long background in supported housing, from service management to commissioning services. He currently works part-time for a small specialist housing association, managing a portfolio of supported housing properties, as well as undertaking some consultancy work in the field.
Prior to this he was the Commissioner responsible for Housing Related Support (formerly Supporting People) services for a NW local authority. During this time, he worked closely with the people who used the services, landlords and providers to review, remodel and re-tender the services across the authority to ensure that they were meeting local needs, available wherever they should be and were high quality. He also worked hard to reduce the providers’ administrative workloads.
Prior to this, he managed contracts and quality assurance across all (former) Supporting People services for a Greater Manchester authority, ensuring the best possible support for all the people they worked alongside.
It goes without saying that he is very passionate that services for vulnerable people should be of the highest quality, relevant, and user-focused.
Robin is a trained primary teacher, having taught in the first inclusive school in East London. He has also managed a lively hostel for people with experience of the criminal justice system and substance misuse, plus various floating support services.
Neil has studied and / or worked in the social housing sector over 16 years, with roles predominantly in performance (including governance reporting and regulatory submissions), improvement and policy related areas. A founding member, and second chair of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)’s Futures Board Neil is also a Chartered Member of the CIH. He currently works as Head of Customer Improvement at Sovereign Network Group (SNG), a position he’s held since November 2023.
Trevor joined our Housing Board in October 2024. He has worked in private housing development for over 30 years and currently holds the position of Technical Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, a role he has held for over 10 years. Trevor has successfully led the design and delivery of developments providing affordable housing alongside private housing and is passionate about the housing industry and, importantly, the ability for all to be able to live in affordable, quality housing in well-designed spaces.
This is Trevor’s first non-director role and he’s passionate about using his using his knowledge of the private housing industry and expanding his understanding of the complexities of social housing within which P3 Housing operates.

Andy is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 35 years experience in a variety of sectors including telecoms, contract catering, airline catering, premiership football, pharmaceuticals, art and charities. Much of his experience has been gained overseas developing highly functional teams including 3 years in the Middle East. Andy’s roles have included Finance Director, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Commercial Finance, Head of Audit and Risk Management and Programme Management.
Andy describes himself as an innovative and creative accountant! His approach is very much around making a difference through bringing out the best in people and organisations – identifying new ways of doing things and presenting information in a way that everyone understands. He has extensive experience in business and finance transformation, systems implementation and programme management. Andy spent 2 years as a Finance Director for a large UK charity spending as much time as he could engaging with their front line teams and people they supported to make a positive difference.
Andy has previous experience as a Trustee on the Board of the Students Union at University of Warwick, which coincidentally was where he spent many happy days doing his Economics Degree and hosting a radio show twice a week before becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Mark is proud to lead the P3 Charity Group as Chief Executive, overseeing P3 Charity, P3 Housing and the Rugby Portobello Trust.
With over 35 years of experience in the social sector, Mark has dedicated his career to designing and delivering services that support people facing some of the toughest life challenges. Under Mark’s leadership, the P3 Charity Group has expanded its reach and impact—supporting thousands of people across the country through housing, mental health and community-based services that are person-led, trauma-informed and rooted in respect and compassion.
Born and raised in Nottinghamshire, Mark’s deep commitment to social justice comes from personal experience. His family was actively involved in community work and, at times, needed the support of homelessness services themselves. These early experiences shaped his values and led him to train as a mental health nurse. Since then, he has built a diverse and people-focused career spanning frontline support, fundraising, project leadership and systems advocacy.
Mark is passionate about building services in partnership with the people they are designed to support. He is a strong advocate for collaboration, inclusion and long-term change that improves lives and transforms communities.
Beyond his leadership at P3, Mark also contributes to the wider public and voluntary sectors through a number of non-executive roles, serving at both board and committee level, including the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Having joined P3 in 2020, Clare oversees the finances for the P3 Group and plays at a critical strategic role in the Charities development.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, Clare joined the prestigious graduate training program at GEC. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, she then moved to work for Boots and held a number of financial management roles, leading teams and driving change over a period of 20 years. She worked briefly in higher education at the University of Nottingham, before joining Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing in 2014.
Gemma is dedicated to expanding the charity’s reach and enhancing its service provision, ensuring more people receive the support they need. With extensive expertise in business development, social investment and partnership working, she plays a key role in driving innovation and sustainable growth within the charity.
Gemma has over 20 years of experience in the voluntary sector, specialising in fundraising, strategic development and multi-sector collaboration. Her experience includes leading Social Impact Bond development, securing social investment and overseeing complex project mobilisation and change projects.
Beyond her role at P3, Gemma serves on multiple boards and committees and has been named in the NatWest WISE100 Women in Social Enterprise 2024 list, which recognises the most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business. With a strong commitment to social change, Gemma continues to champion innovative solutions, inclusive leadership and impactful partnerships that create lasting positive outcomes.
As P3’s Chief Operating Officer, Rebecca leads operations and oversees quality, safeguarding and involvement for the organisation, ensuring our services remain people first and are aligned with our mission and values.
Rebecca graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Psychology and a specialist interest in mental health. She has over 20 years’ experience working in the voluntary sector, alongside experience in Primary Mental Health Care and the NHS. Rebecca has extensive experience of delivering homelessness, mental health and accommodation services, working at local, regional and national scale.
Hannah provides strategic direction and leadership to P3 Housing, overseeing the property and maintenance teams, working in collaboration with the Charity to deliver supported accommodation and secure future development opportunities.
Hannah started her career in supported housing when she joined Home Group as a Project Worker in 2006. She went on to spend 8 years at Orbit Group in a variety of roles within general needs, specialising in housing management and income collection, before going back to her roots in supported housing with Salvation Army Homes.
Hannah joined P3 as an Operations Manager in 2019 and stepped into the role of Head of Housing in 2022. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Policy and Sociology, a foundation degree in Housing, Communities and Regeneration and a Level 5 apprenticeship in Operational Leadership and Management.
Alison leads on business development and enhancing service provision, supporting P3 to develop services in new communities and regions. Her role focuses on ensuring we develop our services with P3’s mission, vision and values remaining at the forefront of our work.
Alison has a degree in Psychology and holds a Level 7 qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership. She has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years, with extensive experience in business development, partnership working and operational delivery.

As P3’s Director of Young People and Family Services, Esther is passionate and focussed on leading our teams in a person-centred and trauma-informed way, championing the approaches of Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) and Trauma Informed Care (TIC) across the organisation.
Esther has a postgraduate degree in clinical science and is a qualified person-centred counsellor. She has over 25 years’ experience working in the voluntary sector and has extensive experience supporting people in drug and alcohol community services, mental health services, housing and young people services.
Jack is responsible for corporate safeguarding and works closely with the Boards of P3 Charity and P3 Housing to ensure the delivery of key governance initiatives. He is also the Data Protection Officer for P3 Charity and P3 Housing and ensures that information governance best practice is adhered to.
Jack joined the P3 Group in 2019, supporting its delivery of National Citizen Service (NCS) in the West Midlands after previously working as a qualified mental health social worker and in the education sector. He joined P3’s Governance team in 2022 and has served as Company Secretary for P3 Charity and P3 Housing since 2024.
As P3’s Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Erin supports P3 to develop meaningful relationships and connections that enable us to increase our reach and impact.
She has been with P3 since 2013, starting as a volunteer in our Homework Club. Erin is a first-class honours graduate from the University of Connecticut (USA) with a background in journalism. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (CIOF), is a graduate of their prestigious Advanced International Diploma in Fundraising (AdvDip, distinction), holds a Level 3 apprenticeship in data analytics and hold non-exec and trustee roles outside of P3.
Caroline joined P3 in 2017 and moved into her current role as Director of People and Culture in 2024. She has a passion for fostering a positive colleague and workplace culture and lead a team of HR professionals supporting our people across the charity.
Prior to P3, Caroline spent over 15 years in HR across retail, manufacturing and government organisations. Caroline has a BA (Hons) in Geography and Business Administration, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at Nottingham Business School and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Ben is responsible for all hardware, telephony and cyber security and provides and develops the digital tools to support P3 in our work, including CRMs, RPA and reporting and data management.
Ben joined the P3 Group in 2021, having vast experience of high-paced roles across the corporate sector throughout all aspects of digital systems, IT service delivery and data analysis.
Lisa is responsible for managing the payroll function of P3, ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date by implementing and improving our checks and controls and financial policies and procedures. She manages P3’s annual external audit, produces the statutory accounts and ensues P3 operates within the required legal frameworks.
Lisa has 40 years’ experience in finance, implementing accounting systems and improving financial policies and procedures in both the private and charity sectors.
Amy leads P3’s support and community services teams, providing strategic direction and leadership to our regional Heads of Services. Amy is a dedicated people-first professional with over 20 years of experience in health, social care and social housing in the voluntary sector, as well as a passionate advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion, serving on P3’s EDI committee.
