Role Title: Volunteer Translator

Location: Warwickshire-wide, delivered remotely or in-person at one of our Hubs (Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Rugby or Stratford-upon-Avon)

Time Commitment: Flexible

 

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to join us as a Volunteer Translator in Warwickshire.

As a Volunteer Translator, you’ll provide interpretation and translation services to our support workers and the people we support. This role helps ensure non-English speaking individuals can fully access our service, support and activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken communication between English and another language during meetings, phone calls or support sessions.
  • Translate written documents, leaflets or forms.
  • Help people we support to understand key information, such as legal, medical, housing or community support details.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and professional boundaries.
