P3 Charity to Deliver New Supported Housing in Rugby Following £1.355m Investment from Social and Sustainable Capital

Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC) has provided a £1.355 million investment from its Social and Sustainable Housing II (SASH II) fund to P3 Charity (People Potential Possibilities), where we support people across the UK with their housing and mental health. As a national charity and social enterprise, we work alongside people to overcome challenges and create opportunities for positive change.

The loan will enable P3 Charity to acquire up to nine properties in Rugby, Warwickshire, delivering 20 bedspaces for supported housing for people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion. The homes will provide safe, affordable accommodation alongside in-house and external support, helping individuals stabilise their circumstances and progress towards semi-independent living as part of P3’s homelessness prevention pathway in the area.

This latest funding builds on SASC’s previous £3 million investment in P3 in 2019, reflecting a long-standing partnership focused on scaling supported housing provision and improving outcomes for people at risk of homelessness.

Founded in 1972, P3 Charity delivers rough sleeping outreach, supported housing, homelessness prevention and mental health support services across the UK. Our mission is to tackle social exclusion by creating opportunities for people to belong, grow and thrive, supporting individuals to build stability, access the right support, and move towards independent living. The new properties in Rugby will strengthen P3’s ability to deliver high-quality accommodation locally, reduce reliance on private landlords, and improve oversight of housing standards while diversifying the availability of supported housing.

Impact in Rugby

The homes will support people facing homelessness across shared and self-contained accommodation. Residents will benefit from secure housing and integrated support designed to improve wellbeing, sustain tenancies, and support progression into independent living. The investment is expected to enhance local housing stability and strengthen homelessness prevention and support pathways in Rugby.
