We’re absolutely thrilled to share that P3’s Digital Services Team has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Charity IT Leaders Awards. The team will be heading to Inner Temple Hall in London on 4th December 2025 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the awards, which shine a light on the very best in charity technology and innovation.

Our Digital Services Team has been recognised for their work in not one, but two categories: ‘Digital and Data Team of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Technology Team’; a huge achievement that reflects their creativity, teamwork and commitment to using technology to make life better for the people we support.

Our small Digital Services Team focuses on two distinct areas: one with a primary focus on hardware and the other on the running of data systems across the organisation.

Craig Brown, IT Operations and Solutions Manager for P3 Charity, said: “I’m very proud that our IT team is a part of this nomination, reflecting the hard work and positivity they bring to work every day. Beyond their technical knowledge, it’s the teamwork, patience and compassion that makes them an asset to P3.”

This is echoed by Amy Baxter, Data and Digital Optimisation Manager for P3 Charity, who added: “This nomination is a real reflection of the strength of our teamwork. Behind the data we manage is a shared effort to make sure our frontline colleagues have what they need to support the people who rely on us at P3. Our team works closely with all departments to keep things running smoothly and find smarter, more efficient ways of working. Beyond their skills, it’s their collaborative nature that truly makes the difference and that’s what makes them so deserving of this award.”

Every day, the team find digital solutions that make a real difference; whether that’s through everyday systems or one-off projects, like internal finance optimisation, data transparency and EDI reporting, which help us reach more people, more effectively.

But what really makes this team special is their community-led approach. Every decision they make is rooted in improving people’s lives – whether it’s looking after data, Microsoft Office or donating approximately 150 refurbished laptops to people receiving support between 2024 – 2025, helping them gain digital confidence and take control of their future.

Across P3, the Digital Services Team are known for their kindness, creativity and willingness to go above and beyond. They bring people together, make complex things simple and always find a way to use their skills for good.

Gemma Bukel, P3 Charity’s Managing Director, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled and deeply privileged to be shortlisted for not one but two awards at the IT Charity Leaders Awards. To be recognised alongside so many amazing charities doing incredible things with technology is an honour. It’s a real reflection of how far our Digital Services team has come in using innovation to make a meaningful difference for the people and communities we support.”

Regardless of the outcome at the awards, everyone at P3 is incredibly proud of this achievement. This recognition is a national celebration of a small team doing incredible things. With a small team of just 10 IT and digital colleagues supporting over 800 colleagues across P3, their impact is nothing short of inspiring.

Ben Hunter, Director of Digital Services at P3 Charity, added: “I’m so proud of my awesome team! This recognition shines a light on their dedication and drive to make technology truly meaningful, not just for P3, but for the people we support. Every piece of data represents a real person making positive change in their life.”

We couldn’t be prouder. Good luck to the small but mighty Digital Services team; whose impact across our charity makes real difference to the people we work alongside.

We change lives, every day. Your support helps us to ensure that we can.
