Our BeWell team has celebrated another successful fundraiser this summer, bringing the local community together to raise money for the people they support.
This year’s fundraiser raised an amazing £2375, with donations helping the team create positive experiences and opportunities for the people who use the service. One of the highlights of this year’s fundraising is the team’s plan to use the money raised to take people supported by BeWell on a special trip to the seaside.
For many of the people supported by Bewell, opportunities to get out, explore new places and spend time with others can make a real difference to their wellbeing. The trip will provide a chance to enjoy a change of scenery, make memories and spend time together away from the everyday.
The fundraiser was made possible thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, volunteered or helped make the event happen.
The BeWell team would like to thank everyone who supported the fundraiser and helped make it such a memorable day. With special thanks to Tapton Golf Club, Derbyshire Fire Service and Mitsubishi – who hosted, attended and supported on the day. Extending thanks to UKWS and High Peaks Comps who generously donated £500 each to support the fundraiser.
Every donation will make a massive difference, helping BeWell create opportunities that support people to improve their wellbeing, build confidence and enjoy new experiences.
