At P3 Charity, we’re proud to announce that three members of our finance team have been shortlisted for the East Midlands Finance Awards (EMFA) 2026. Jacqueline Harris, Accounting Services Manager, has been nominated for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award, while Richard Porter, Business Partner, and Shannon Roberts, Finance Officer, have both been shortlisted in the ‘Rising Star’ category.
The EMFA celebrate excellence across the finance sector in the East Midlands. Established in 2019, the awards recognise hardworking teams and talented individuals who are leading positive change in the sector.
EMFA describe the ‘Unsung Hero’ category as “an award for that person your team relies on to make everything run well and truly deserves a moment in the spotlight.” As Accounting Services Manager for P3 Charity, Jacqui Harris does exactly that.
As P3 Charity CFO Clare Chrisp highlights, “Jacqui is quietly outstanding, consistently dependable and utterly dedicated to the smooth running of our organisation. Her impact spans all accounting services and processing and she encourages her team to deliver excellence with professionalism, accuracy and unwavering calm. She leads by example setting high standards, modelling the P3 culture and never missing an opportunity to celebrate success.”
P3 Charity has also received two nominations in the ‘Rising Star’ category, recognising Richard Porter and Shannon Roberts.
Shannon has shown exceptional promise in her finance career and consistently goes above and beyond in her role. Reflecting on Shannon’s nomination, Jacqui Harris, Accounting Services Manager for P3 Charity, said: “Shannon truly embodies going above and beyond, showing exceptional promise for her future finance career. She is a dedicated and driven member of the Finance team who is already making a significant impact. Through key project work, her studies towards AAT Level 4 and her passion for collaboration, she continues to demonstrate the qualities of a true Rising Star.”
Richard has also made a significant impact, transforming the way the organisation understands, manages and uses financial information.
Clare Chrisp, CFO for P3 Charity, adds, “Richard’s blend of technical capability, collaborative approach and ability to explain finance concepts to non-finance managers has elevated the quality of our budgeting and forecasting and decision-making processes across P3.”
The winners will be announced on 14 May 2026 at the East Midlands Finance Awards ceremony at Nottingham Contemporary. The event brings together organisations from across the region to celebrate the people behind the profession, offering an opportunity to recognise achievements, connect with colleagues across the sector and enjoy an evening of food, entertainment and music.
On behalf of everyone at P3 Charity, we congratulate Jacqui, Richard and Shannon for the vital work they do behind the scenes every day, helping ensure we can continue delivering high-quality support to people across the UK.
